2013 Baseball Season

Asa, and the top players for the Youngsville Allstar Team wanted to win a New Hampshire state championship title and they were willing to work to get it.  As a group, they joined the N.E. Hurricanes Travel Baseball Organization so they could learn and play at a much higher level.  The team practiced all Fall and Winter together to prepare.  Some new talent joined the team and they were stronger than ever.  But, the players on the other teams had joined other competitive travel teams in the area and were practicing just as hard.  Asa's 10U N.E. Hurricanes Team played very well and were able to defeat team-after-team to make it to the Elite Baseball League (EBL) Championship. However, they lost the championship game to the Legends - the number one baseball organization in the New England area.  Asa lead the league in batting with a .625 batting average, and an .694 OBP.  He also lead the league as a pitcher in strikeouts and he was able to maintain the lowest ERA in the entire EBL league.

Rusty Tucker, the coach of the 10U Legends team had recognized Asa's playing and pitching ability throughout the entire season.

After the conclusion of the EBL season, the Legends invited Asa to play with them in a late season 10U Tournament at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, NY.  At that point, Asa started getting significant recognition for his talents.  From there, the Legends invited Asa to play with their 11U Team the following season.
