Giancarlo Stanton hit the fastest ball ever recorded on Statcast in MLB

MLB Advanced Media introduced Statcast in 2015 to measure all kinds of cool things in baseball, including how fast balls are hit off the bat.

Here’s the fastest knock recorded thus far — courtesy of giant Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton — on Thursday — with an exit velocity of 123.9 MPH.
